10 Rules for Your Families First Magic Kingdom Trip

10 Rules for Your Families First Magic Kingdom Trip

Headed to Walt Disney World for the first time? We have a list of 10 rules for your first visit!

Meet and Greet with Mickey

Get your picture with Mickey matter if your kids are 3 or 15, it’s a must that you get a picture with Mickey. Check times and placements of where he’ll be early in the day and get in the line a little early.

Say Cheese!

Get a family picture in front of the castle and don’t forget to post that immediately to social media.  We all know if it’s not on Facebook then it didn’t happen and what a waste of $4000 that would be.

Treat Yourself, Mickey Style!

Eat something Mickey shaped. There is so much Mickey shaped food in Disney you’re sure to find something that appeals to you. Take your pick from Mickey pancakes, rice crispy treats, ice cream and more.

Take advantage of those extra Magic Hours

Stay late at Magic Kingdom for the Fireworks and parade. After a long day at the park, the truly magical part is the fireworks and night time Electric Lights Parade.  It’s sure to give everyone a satisfying end to a memorable day.

Take a ride!

Ride Splash Mountain at night as you will get an amazing view of Cinderella’s Castle lit up at night.

Don’t miss the Main Street Bakery!

Visit the Main Street Bakery, you’ll know where to find it just follow your nose!

Dreaming of Dole Whip!

It’s absolutely inexcusable to visit Magic Kingdom and not have the famous Dole Whip treat.  An allergy to pineapple is really the only viable excuse for not having it.

Get your hair done, that’s right, at Disney!

Perhaps one of the best-kept secrets in Disney is the Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street, complete with optional Pixie Dust. Not only do they give great haircuts, but the real draw is the Baby’s First Haircut package!

Don’t forget your ears!

Someone in your group, if not everyone, has to wear Mickey ears. There’s a reason why this popular souvenir has been a top seller for since the 1950’s, you know you want some!

Have the best day ever!

Don’t stress over things being perfect, a day with your family at Walt Disney World is truly a magical day!
