7 Days of Cookies: Day 2 – Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip CookiesMy family absolutely adores these cookies, in fact when I am asked to bring a dessert or a sweet treat to a function these cookies are often requested.

They are a bit different because they don’t have butter, but rather vegetable oil. Another thing to mention is that no matter how many times that I have made them a double batch doesn’t turn out well for whatever reason.

Here is the recipe for my famous Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies:

Ingredients

Directions:

Combine pumpkin, sugar, vegetable oil, and egg. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.

Dissolve the baking soda with the milk and stir in. Add flour mixture to pumpkin mixture and mix well.Add vanilla, chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for approximately 10 minutes or until lightly brown and firm
