Catch the excitement about the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station

St. Louis has made a name for themselves when it comes to being a family friendly town. With a wide variety of both free and paid attractions you won’t find a shortage of ways to entertain your family.

But until recently, an aquarium in the Gateway City, had been nothing but a passing thought.

More than just the locals are excited about the aquarium, the rare blue lobster that was found recently? It has even been donated to the St. Louis Aquarium, in honor of the Blue’s Stanley Cup win.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to see the progress of the aquarium. The setting is so incredibly unique, the history of Union Station is preserved while breathing new life into the building.

In fact, the Curio Collection by Hilton located inside of Union Station will have rooms looking directly into the aquarium. Roughly there are about 30 hotel rooms that will have a birds-eye view directly into the action.
