The unofficial list of Gulf Shores Spring Break Challenges

The unofficial list of Gulf Shores Spring Break Challenges

This is nothing official, however, it would be totally awesome if it was! I heard this from a fellow travel writer and thought it was a great idea.

My particular friend tried as many mini golf courses as possible during his trip and ranked them based on how he and his family liked each mini golf course.

That being explained, here’s where my idea for the Gulf Shores Spring Break Challenge comes in.

The last time that we were in Gulf Shores, my son was introduced to crab claws and the rest of the trip he ordered them if they were on the menu.

We dubbed it the Taylor’s Crab Claw Challenge. He was basically a crab claw by the time it was all said and done.

There are an abundance of different unofficial Spring Break Challenges that you could take on while you and your family are in Gulf Shores. Here are some that we’ve come up with on our own.

You can click on each challenge image to print off and take along with you, should you dare!

The Crab Claw Challenge:

Try crab claws from these awesome Gulf Shores Restaurants, and rank which ones you think are the best in order!
Lulu’s
GT’s on the Bay
Flippers
Sea n’ Suds
Bahama Bobs
Shrimp Basket
Gulf Shores Steamer

The Gulf Shores Ice Cream Challenge:

Look, ice cream is my favorite treat. It could be freezing cold outside and I would still be game for a great scoop of ice cream. In my very humble opinion, ice cream is 10 times better at the beach.

Here are the list of spots we’ve put on the Gulf Shores Ice Cream Challenge list:

Matt’s Ice Cream
Andy’s Ice Cream
Scoops Ice Cream
Chocolate Corner and Ice Cream
Kayden’s Candy Factory Donuts and Breakfast
The Yard Milkshake Bar (yes I know it is milkshakes but it totally counts!)

The Gulf Shores Donut Challenge

My family is made up of donut lovers. From jelly filled to powdered sugar topped to just plain old glaze donuts, we love them all.

The best part is, we’ve had some great donuts while we’ve been in Gulf Shores. So naturally we wanted to include a donut challenge.

Here are our picks for the Gulf Shores Spring Break Donut Challenge:

Lickin’ Good Donuts
City Donuts
Sassy Bass Crazy Donuts
Kayden’s Candy Factory and Donuts
Cafe Beignets (technically not donuts but super good)

No matter what you decide to do in Gulf Shores over Spring Break (or otherwise) I can promise you that you will have a fantastic time and make wonderful memories.
