I have a confession to make.
I.hate.crafts.
Each time my kids come home with a project that involves glue sticks, glitter, construction paper or anything else that could be classified as craft supplies I feel sad inside. My kids trot back to school with a half-hearted attempt at said project and I breathe a sigh of relief until the next crafty thing comes our way.
There, I said it. I feel much better.
Each and every year, my kids come home with Valentine’s that are so darn cute and creative, it makes me feel bad for sending my kids to school with the dollar box of Valentine’s that I picked up at the grocery while shopping for toilet paper.
So, this year I have been checking out other blogger friends who have some fantastic ideas for Valentines that even I might be able to tolerate.
Valentine’s Day Classroom Card Ideas:
Eighteen 25 has a super cute idea for “lighting up” Valentine’s Day
Kid Things makes me feel like I may actually be able to pull off homemade Valentine’s!
If your kids are anything like mine and they HAVE TO HAVE Star Wars Cards Wit & Wander has you covered!
The Happy Ames Family has a super cute Pokemon card idea. My boys will flip over these! Bonus points to her for including a link to print out these templates!
It’s Always Autumn shares how to make classmates feel “exSTRAW” special!
If your kids are anything like mine and are, slightly obsessed with Legos, then this idea is a slam dunk for you. The Resourceful Mama has a fun way to use Legos as Valentine’s!
I love this idea from Made by Monique, this adorable use of a mason jar and ‘love bugs’ are sure to get some smiles from the recipients. Just make sure you have extra gummy worms, you know to test your product!
Do any of these ideas make you feel like going outside of the Valentine Day box?
