Valentine’s Day Gift Guide!

Valentine’s Day Gift Guide!

Valentine’s Day is practically here and while there are some that are in the eye-rolling camp when it comes to this holiday (my husband is one of those eye-rollers) others of us enjoy being thought of and showered with gifts. Nothing has to be very elaborate, it is after-all the thought that counts!

First up on the list is a travel coloring book titled Travel Between the Lines. We adore coloring, it is such fantastic stress relief and my kids are always willing to sit down and color with me. This particular coloring book is something that we can get behind because it is all about travel! It is for sale on Amazon and can be purchased here.

Many of y’all are aware of of the fact that we are from Kentucky the land of Bourbon! A friend of mine that I met several years ago makes a product that incorporates bourbon and chocolate and it isn’t a bourbon ball!

She makes some of the most delicious (and potent!) bourbon truffles you will ever taste! Her company is called Art Eatables and you can find some of her products on Amazon or on her website.

Dinner! I know that this is so played out and over done, but hear me out! For me a dinner that I don’t have to cook or shop for for that matter is a fantastic dinner! If this is a dinner out, then I would much prefer to have the reservations taken care of for me!

Jewelry is a very typical (and thoughtful!) gift idea, but if you decide to go that route make sure to give something unique! There are lots of similar necklaces out there but we are partial to this one because of the Kentucky connection! If you love Kentucky as much as we do then you can purchase it here.

Go for a date  at paint your own pottery spot. This is something my boyfriend at the time (husband now) and I did and I still use the plate! On the back of the very large pasta dish I wrote the date and that I was with him on the back. Now when I pull it out to use it when we have get togethers at home I always smile and think about that day that we had together.

If you are looking for something for your little Valentine consider the Little Passports Program. It is a monthly subscription program aimed at helping little ones learn about locations all around the globe. They have 3 different age group kits to choose from, so you can be sure that your kiddo will be entertained! Here is a link to their website if you would like to check it out further!
